The number of homeless people has doubled in the past 10 years to about 40,000. A large proportion of these fall into a relatively new category: economically homeless, also called self-reliant homeless.
All week Regenboog contributor Malika Amghar, of the Economic Homeless Support Center, was questioner of the week on NPO Radio Speechmakers. The central question was: How can we properly help economically homeless people. Each day focused on a different aspect of this issue.
