Labour boasts
Are you not yet able to do paid work independently, but would like to get started? Within De Regenboog Groep we have all kinds of workplaces for you. Outdoors in green areas, in a workshop, at the office or in catering. With your hands or your head, together or alone, we have something for everyone. Together we look at what is the best workplace for you.
You feel better
Work gives you a nice way to spend your day, contact with others and rhythm. If you are going to work with us in, for example, The Repro, The Sewing Studio or The Bookbinding Shop, there is always a work supervisor who will help you on your way and explain what activities are possible. You will find that you are more satisfied when you have worked. And if you do it longer, you will also start to feel more confident about yourself.
You set the goal
Together with your personal program coach you will make a plan. Which goal you start with depends on your situation, what you can already do and what your possibilities and wishes are. Building up a daily routine, dealing with feedback or learning a trade; you determine your own learning goals. We help you and watch your development so that you can eventually move on. For example, to independent work; paid, subsidized or voluntary. At least, if that is what you want, of course.
There is something to choose from
We have all kinds of workplaces. Printing Office De Repro, De Boekbinderij, sewing studio Zig Zag, sound studio Digi Vibes, publishing company Tobi Vroegh, Garden Park Lisbon, the Colors Laundry and The Bicycle Shop, the Web Agency to name a few. Through a number of social organizations such as Villa Buitenlust, The Buurtboerderij, Amsterdam Media Factory and Rederij Kees it is also really possible to move on to paid work.
Which workplace you end up at depends on your interests and wishes, but also on the right match. The match should include the atmosphere, the workload, the size and composition of the group but also whether we can match the work to the goal you want to achieve. Your program supervisor will support you in making your choice.
Working hours and compensation
You will work two to eight 4-hour days per week . We will agree on the exact working hours together. For some projects we also work evenings and/or weekends.
You get an expense allowance of € 5. Per half day. Furthermore, there are activities you can do together with other participants: varying from a jeux de boules tournament, a communal lunch to a Christmas bingo. We do not pay the fees if you are absent or sick. (out?)
