Active Computer Center (ACC)
Do you help make Amsterdammers digitally proficient? The ACC is a fun meeting place; a relaxed environment, with lots to do.
We do this
We have two locations, in Amsterdam Noord and West. There we offer many different courses. These are given by our volunteers and others. Think of a general introduction to Windows and working with your smartphone, but also specific programs like Word, Excel, Illustrator, Photoshop and much more.
In the drop-in room, people can use computers independently. In addition, we help our visitors with questions they have about, for example: computers/laptops, cell phones, safe internet use.
You can learn this with us
At the ACC you will work in a varied position with plenty of room for your own ideas and input. You will teach one or more students. You will learn to compile material to teach with, make presentation material for your students, didactic skills, dealing with other software, working together with a team of teachers. You can also invent and design your own course.
