Colors Laundry
No washing machine or even a house and still have your clothes clean and dry? You can do that at the Colors Laundromat.
How does it work?
For visitors and participants of De Regenboog Groep, a wash costs €1. Want to wash what you're wearing? You can also buy clean second-hand clothes from us.
The laundromat is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Processing time depends on crowds: first come, first serve! So be on time and you'll manage to get your laundry clean the same day.

Wash, iron, fold and deliver
There are three washing machines and three dryers that run pretty much all day. People in a work shift work in the laundromat every day. There is a morning shift and an afternoon shift, which wash, iron and fold. We bring the laundry by cargo bike to the different locations in town. This is great work: it provides satisfaction, daily rhythm and contact.
Was for them and the group
Colors does laundry for individual homeless people, as well as for the Night Shelter in Self-Help (NOIZ). The NoiZ can be found in various drop-in centers. They are economically homeless people who arrange their own overnight stay there when daytime visitors have left. Laundry, such as bedding, is taken care of by the laundromat. When it is freezing, the number of sleepers in the drop-in houses is even greater; their laundry also goes to the Colors laundromat.
Collection of clothing
Do you have good clothing left over? Then turn it in to us. We'll make sure it ends up with people who can't afford new clothes.
Especially men are becoming homeless, so we need a lot of (warm) men's clothing. Furthermore, homeless people walk the streets all day. Shoes wear out quickly then. So shoes are also welcome. You can hand in your shoes not only at Colors, but also at one of the drop-in centers.
